Earlier this month, Tullytown Borough officials welcomed a plaque to commemorate the work done to their borough hall.
The borough hall, which began renovations in October 2014, saw the addition of a new generator, a new hvac system, a new roof, fresh paint, new carpeting, improved lighting, a security system, and even bulletproof glass in the hall’s lobby.
According to Borough Manager Allison Smith, the project included “valued engineering” by Levittown’s own Quality Services Plus Inc. Although the project was bid by the company at just over $1 million, officials noted that council members worked to get the costs down by approximately $300,000.
The borough administration and the police departments moved to temporary offices at 578 Main Street in late September as some roof work began on the borough hall, the building which was used as a makeshift facility, used to be a catering hall.
