A man was in serious condition after being struck by a tractor-trailer along Route 13 in Tullytown Thursday night.
The was, according to preliminary information provided to police, crossing from southbound to northbound Route 13 when the tractor-trailer struck him near the entrance to the Levittown Town Center.
Police Chief Daniel Doyle said the man was rushed to the trauma center at Aria Health’s Frankford campus and is expected to survive.
The driver of the tractor-trailer did not appear intoxicated but did voluntarily submit to a blood draw, Doyle said.
Officers were continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
